FIVE THINGS I’M GRATEFUL FOR THIS SATURDAY

1. Lightning Bugs
2. Yo-Yo Ma
3. Butterfingers
4. Pink Highlighters
5. Buttercream Yankee Candles

Sorry I haven’t been around much lately. It’s been killing me not being able to check on all my favorite blogs! But I knew that I couldn’t spend just five minutes online, and five minutes is about all the free time I’ve had lately. Hopefully I’ll settle into some sort of routine very soon and then I can schedule some “blogging” time into my week.

I'm gonna' keep this brief so I can go catch up on some blog reading now. Then I have to start studying for a Language and Linguistics test that I have on Monday. Wish me luck!

Meanwhile, here’s a little something to make you smile—the latest additions to my family in Texas. I miss them terribly, but thankfully I have a great long distance plan and my mom sends me tons of pictures.

Yum,Yum Annie...butterfingers...mini-hershey bars, then mini butterfingers--they store so easily in a bed table drawer, away from roaming grandkids looking for candy, especially chocolate.... Summer is going fast and before you know it school will be starting up again, besides summer school brush-ups- ever since you asked about some good books for kids to read, I have re-read all of shel silversteins books 2 or 3 times...have you given any thought to the books about ufo's for the older kids? thanks for dropping by my blog		\|< << >> >\|

The puppies are Shitzu's and belong to my Mom and sister. They got them at the same time... I'm taking Language and Linguistics right now in summer school and I'm taking Gender Studies in the fall. I'm not sure if I'm going to take any other classes but that one because I'm putting in so many hours at work and I'm really enjoying it, so why mess up a good thing, you know? We got my car "patched" so it's limping along but I wouldn't say it was "fixed" completely. It's still acting funky and my hubby feels he needs to drive me most places so that if it breaks down I won't be stranded on my own... Hopefully I will make enough money soon to either get my car fixed or even better, trade it in for something better. Sounds like you're keeping just as busy!		\|< << >> >\|

Thanks, Lady Louise! They're Shitzu's--a dog our family has never had before. I haven't seen them in person yet, (they belong to my mom and sister in Texas) but apparently they're so adorable that people stop my mom on the street, at PetSmart, wherever... just to pet them.
