Real people wouldn't really use their religion as an excuse to rob others of their dignity, rights, and even their lives, would they? Certainly a country that prides itself on its ideals of freedom and diversity wouldn't do that... Its leaders wouldn't brag about killing the enemy and create amendments to restrict the rights of its own citizens...
It's just a comic, right?

I looked at your 100 things and see that you are going to be a teacher.I used to teach 7th grade science and my daughter is in college to be an elementary school teacher.
That's so cool that you were a 7th grade science teacher! Any wisdom you want to throw my way would be very welcome. I'm pursuing a secondary degree in Language Arts so that I can teach at a middle school or high school, but I'm particulary fond of 6th grade. Some call me crazy, but I just love those kids!
